How to Prepare a Custom Bag RFQ
A practical checklist for sharing bag style, quantity, size, color, artwork, printing and delivery details.

A clear request for quotation helps a custom bag project start with fewer assumptions. Before you submit, collect the details below so the supplier can review the right construction and ask focused follow-up questions.
- Define the bag style and use State whether you need a non-woven tote, grocery tote, die-cut carry bag, gusseted box tote, canvas tote, or cotton canvas drawstring pouch. Explain what the bag will carry and how it will be used.
- Share quantity and target size Provide the estimated order quantity and the target width, height, and gusset if applicable. If the size is flexible, describe the intended contents so an appropriate format can be discussed.
- Confirm color and artwork List the preferred bag color and attach the best available logo artwork. Note the intended print position, number of print locations, and any important color references. Final print specifications should be confirmed for the project.
- Describe construction and packing needs Mention handle style, closure, reinforcement, pocket, drawstring, or other required features. Add any packaging or carton-marking instructions that matter to your program.
- Add delivery details Include the destination country and ZIP or postal code. If you have a target in-hand date, share it as a planning requirement rather than assuming a fixed production schedule.
- Leave room for follow-up Specifications, pricing, and timing depend on the confirmed project details. A complete RFQ gives both sides a reliable starting point for questions, sampling decisions, and a project-specific quotation.
